About Dilag
A clinic built on
patience.
Dilag — from the Filipino word for bloom, or grace — is a dermatology clinic in Bonifacio Global City, founded in 2014 by Dr. Liana Marasigan. We exist because we believe most skin care in Manila is too aggressive, too transactional, and too willing to sell packages before reading skin.
The story
How we got here.
The first room.
Dr. Marasigan opens Dilag in a small suite on the 11th floor of W City Center, BGC. One treatment room. One doctor. A strong opinion about doing less, better.
The laser room.
We invest in our first fractional CO₂ laser — at the time, an unusual purchase for a clinic our size. The rationale: Dr. Marasigan was tired of referring her acne scar patients elsewhere and seeing them mistreated.
Dr. Villanueva joins.
Cora Villanueva brings aesthetic dermatology to Dilag. Together with Dr. Marasigan, she establishes the clinic's injection philosophy: subtle, conservative, "you, rested."
Dr. Alcantara joins.
Tomas Alcantara brings medical and pediatric dermatology. The acne program — now our most-requested service — launches the same year.
The pandemic.
We move to teleconsults for medical dermatology, ship prescription topicals to patients across Luzon, and keep our team intact. No staff layoffs. We are proud of that.
Still here.
Same floor, same building, same opinion. Three doctors, six treatment rooms, one standard of care. We have grown slowly and on purpose.
The space
The clinic.
Reception
Warm wood, soft light, and a small library of art books. No piped music. No television. The point is to arrive at your appointment already calm.
Treatment rooms
Six private rooms, each with natural daylight, medical-grade ventilation, and equipment appropriate to the procedures performed there.
Consultation
Where skin readings happen. Two chairs, a daylight lamp, a dermoscope, and the time to actually listen.
The corridor
Quiet by design. We don't rush patients between rooms. If you need a minute after a procedure, take it.
